Introduction

Greg wants to help. After 18 years as a public school teacher, he saw firsthand how deeply mental health struggles impact students, families, and school staff. Knowing that we have to take care of ourselves to care for others—a truth nowhere more poignant than in education—he returned to school to become a clinical mental health counselor. If you are a struggling educator in any capacity, Greg is here for you. Whether the “Sunday scaries” are hijacking your weekends or deeper anxieties surface as you step into the classroom, he has been in your shoes and is here to remind you that you don't have to carry it alone. Greg approaches therapy through a systems lens: life’s challenges rarely have a single cause, nor do they have a one-size-fits-all solution. He walks alongside his clients as an active partner on their path toward balance and healing. Education & Training Greg earned his B.S. in Secondary Education and History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2004 and his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2023. His clinical approach integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Brainspotting (Level 2), Internal Family Systems (Level 1 / Trauma-Trained), Buddhist Psychology, and Trauma-Informed Care. Outside the clinic, Greg loves reading, working out, taking long hikes in the woods, and running Dungeons & Dragons sessions whenever possible. He is also a trained and certified Therapeutic Dungeon Master.
