I am a Marriage & Family therapist who works well with adult and adolescent clients. I see therapy as a means of processing, exploring, and approaching curiosity as a means in which to grow. I believe that the client is the expert on their life and my job is to listen, hear, investigate, and encourage potentially differing ways of thinking, behaving and interpreting. I lead with self-compassion because it is my belief that we have the freedom to explore when we feel safe and free from judgement. Often times we use criticism, harshness, and shame to motivate ourselves when the science clearly reveals that kindness, compassion, grace, and validation help us move through hard things and find new ways of narrating our story and experiences.
