My name is Gwynn Henry, and I am currently a student at Harding University pursuing a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health. I graduated from Ozark Christian College in 2024 with a Bachelors in Pastoral Care & Counseling. I am excited to begin my internship journey at Mt. Hope as I continue my education and eventually pursue licensure. I work with individuals; women, adolescents, young adults, and beyond. My counseling approach involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to provide an empathetic environment as we navigate how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact our lives, relationships, and well-being. I strive to help my clients reach new levels of emotional regulation when experiencing things such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. My desire is to meet each client where they are on their healing journey with compassion and clinical care. As an intern, I am supervised by Karl Wendt, LPC as well as Angie Brower, LCSW.
