Hola, and Welcome! My name is Brenda Gonzalez, and I'm a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Therapist. I am the Founder and Clinical Director of Hablemos Hoy Therapy. We are a group practice here to serve our communities and people needing a safe space to discover what moving forward can look like for you. Thank you for being here~Gracias por estar aqui. We know seeking therapy can feel scary, and finding the right therapist can feel even more overwhelming. But you've already taken the first step by being here. And, that’s something worth honoring. Life can be unpredictable and complex. We all experience moments that leave us feeling tired, overwhelmed, or lost. But you don’t have to go through it alone. At Hablemos Hoy Therapy we offer you a safe, caring, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, feel heard, grow, heal and discover healthier ways to move through life's challenges. Brenda Gonzalez: I bring over a decade of experience supporting the BIPOC and Latine communities. While I have a special focus on these communities, my door is open to anyone needing a safe space to heal and grow. My work focuses on helping you heal, reconnect with your worth, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are. Andres Juarez: Andres Juarez is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from California Baptist University with my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Throughout my clinical experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life. I have experience working with foster and probation-involved youth, veterans, families, and individuals experiencing trauma, behavioral challenges, emotional difficulties, family conflict, and challenges with relationships and emotional regulation. My experience in community-based settings has also allowed me to work with clients in their homes, schools, and other environments where they feel most comfortable. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe therapy should be a space where people feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I strive to meet each client where they are while helping them develop practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and work toward goals that are meaningful to them. When working with children and families, I place a strong emphasis on building trust and creating a safe environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and expressing what they are experiencing. I understand that starting therapy can sometimes feel intimidating, so I try to make the process feel welcoming, approachable, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Ultimately, my goal is for clients to feel that they have someone in their corner who is willing to listen, understand their experiences, and support them through whatever challenges they may be facing; Here at Hablemos Hoy Therapy, we specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, post-partum, self doubt and life transitions, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other approaches tailored to your unique needs. Above all, we believe in a collaborative, compassionate relationship where you feel empowered and supported. Thank you for your trust. We look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey—whenever you’re ready.
