Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of the experiences that shape how we think, feel, and relate to others. My goal is to create a steady, supportive environment where you can feel safe openly exploring challenges, gaining new perspectives, and developing tools that foster resilience and meaningful change. I work with children, teens, families, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed and identity-affirming care, with attention to how family dynamics, cultural experiences, and how life circumstances influence emotional wellbeing. Together, we explore patterns, strengthen practical coping strategies, and create space for growth that feels both supportive and sustainable. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in pediatric and medical settings as a Certified Child Life Specialist supporting children, adolescents, and families through complex emotional and medical experiences. That work continues to shape my developmentally informed approach to therapy and my belief that resilience grows in safe, supportive relationships. I have graduate training in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I also hold graduate training in Child and Adolescent Development from the University of Minnesota and earned my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. My work integrates trauma-informed care, attachment and family systems perspectives, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and mindfulness-based tools to help clients in build clarity, confidence, and stronger connections in their lives.
