Introduction

Hi, I'm Haley! I'm a clinical therapist, trauma specialist, and founder of Creative Care & Wellness, PLLC, serving adolescents and adults throughout Colorado. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, and criminal justice system involvement. I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, co-occurring substance use disorders, personality disorders, and identity exploration. In addition to providing traditional psychotherapy, I am trained in animal-assisted therapy, complex trauma treatment, traumatic stress, addiction-informed mental health care, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. I am also a forensic clinical social worker and mitigation specialist for criminal defense. I offer compassionate and specialized services, providing a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking healing and growth. I firmly believe that all individuals deserve the right to accessible, affordable, and quality health care. I'm happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable. I also believe therapy is never a one-size-fits-all process. Every person brings unique life experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. I take an integrative, client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy that is tailored specifically to you. Together, we'll build a treatment plan that supports healing, resilience, and meaningful change. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, down-to-earth, a bit silly sometimes, and easy to talk to. I bring a grounding and passionate presence to sessions, making space for humor, honesty, and self-discovery. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be truly heard, understood, and fully yourself. My style is creative, holistic, empathetic, nonjudgmental, direct when needed, and understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and beliefs. Many clients tell me they've shared things with me they've never felt comfortable telling anyone else before. Beginning therapy can feel scary and intimidating—I know firsthand—I work hard to make the process approachable. Naming these feelings is the first step to taming them. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, validated, and empowered as we navigate life's challenges together. Therapy is a partnership, and I believe you are the expert on your own life. One phrase you'll often hear me say is, "If there is no safety, there is no healing." Creating a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of my work. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions and provide a free phone consultation to ensure we're a good fit before beginning services. Whether you're seeking traditional psychotherapy, animal-assisted therapy, or psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, I'd be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and wellness. Reach out today for a free consultation and to learn more!
