If you feel stuck in life or keep reacting in ways that don’t align with your values, I work to help people understand and regulate their emotions so they can feel more free to live the life they want. I have extensive experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns: anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ identities, ADHD and other neurodiversities, immigration experiences, relationship and family issues, and more. I am a calming, warm, and accepting psychotherapist. I provide a safe space to explore different perspectives and empower you to practice what’s difficult in other relationships. I am an integrative clinician with a foundation in psychodynamic theories and treatment. I use grounding, insight-oriented, relational, and cognitive techniques to support clients in making the best decisions for themselves and their interpersonal relationships. I practice with a deep commitment to social justice and intersectionality. I am bilingual in Mandarin and was raised in China. In the past 4 years of my clinical services, I provided therapy across many settings, including GW's Center Clinic, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, DC Superior Court, Capital Center for Psychotherapy and Wellness, and George Mason University's Counseling and Psychological Services. Prior to receiving my PsyD from George Washington University, I received my BA in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, and received an MA in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College.
