Introduction

I help thoughtful, sensitive adults explore who they are apart from who they learned to be, so they can live more honestly. Many grew up taking care of others, discovered parts of their identity later in life, struggle with masking, or had to file down their edges to belong. I'm especially comfortable working with people who identify as sensitive, shy, or a bit different from others. My approach is relational and experiential. We pay attention to what happens in the crucial moments before choices are made: a shift in your body, memory appearing, a wall forming. We explore how to shift these patterns if they're no longer working for you. I also tend to use humor because life is absurd and funny. I love helping folks develop a kind eye, even affection for their whole selves. People are complex, and you are allowed to bring that here. That includes the contradictions, the bristling thoughts, strong feelings, and other acts of humanness. If this sounds refreshing to you, we may work well together.
