Being a human in this world is hard. It's difficult to balance your goals, prioritize your wellbeing, foster your relationships, and integrate the complexity of your experiences. Everyone deserves a place where they can authentically, openly, and safely explore their mental health in collaboration with someone who truly cares. Through collaborative therapeutic approaches and adaptable techniques, I look forward to witnessing your journey toward wellness and supporting your autonomy and growth. I have recently completed my Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling through Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling here in Portland, OR. I’ve worked in various sectors of healthcare and the mental health field for the last 5 years, after completing my B.A. in Psychology in 2019. I am a Professional Counselor Associate (#R11316) through the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. This means that I abide by the same standards of practice and code of ethics as fully-licensed Professional Counselors in Oregon, and I am under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor until I meet the hours and time requirements to be fully-licensed. My supervisor is Raelyn Freden, M.A., CADC III, LPC, License #6754. Your well-being and autonomy are my first and foremost priorities. I believe all individuals deserve empathy, understanding, and the opportunity to pursue growth and healing. You are the expert in your own experiences, and I will treat you as such. I use a variety of techniques and styles in my therapeutic work with clients, following an “eclectic” approach that I am continually tuning to best meet the needs of each individual or relationship I work with. Some of the foundational therapeutic frameworks I use include Feminist, Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Somatic work. I always encourage my clients to share feedback about what they feel works best for them in sessions so we can collaborate on the healing process as equals.
