Introduction

Are you navigating the heavy emotional weight of chronic illness, anxiety, or past trauma? I’m Hannah Caperton, a Licensed Professional Counselor at Anchor Ridge Counseling. I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment that feels genuine, approachable, and deeply supportive. I value openness and honesty in the therapeutic relationship and aim to cultivate a comfortable space where you can bring your full, authentic self into every session. As a counselor serving Broken Arrow, Tulsa, and surrounding communities, I work with preteens, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My focus includes guiding individuals through the complex emotional impact and lifestyle shifts of chronic health conditions and burnout, utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients safely process past trauma, and supporting individuals through severe stress, depression, OCD, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and relational conflict. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from Oklahoma State University. My clinical practice is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care tailored to your unique goals—drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), TF-CBT, and Person-Centered & Strength-Based Therapy to help you reframe unhelpful thought patterns, discover inner resilience, and build effective coping strategies. Beyond the office, I believe that cultivating personal balance and finding genuine moments of connection in everyday life are vital components of emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking support for managing a health diagnosis, processing past trauma, or navigating a difficult life transition, I would love to walk alongside you. Reach out today to schedule your intake.
