Introduction

If you're looking for a calm space for yourself amidst the chaos, and ready to give yourself permission to have that, I may be the therapist for you. Are you ready to be free from stress and anxiety around life, work, and relationships? I offer individual therapy for women and therapy for mixed-race/multiracial/biracial people. Realizing we all have our own story, it's important to offer healing in a safe, nurturing and accessible way. You have the ability and knowledge to make your own choices and decisions. I just help you get out of your own way. We pay careful attention to the mind-body-spirit connection and how each part of you works together. As your therapist, we work together to help remove barriers for achieving balance in your mind, body, heart and spirit. Finding tools to maintain your mental, physical, and spiritual equilibrium; and help you feel the transformation that happens when your mind and body are connected. I enjoy incorporating mind-body practices with a humanistic, systems-based approach into our work. Sometimes, we just need an objective person to help us navigate and organize our thoughts and feelings. In our work together I like to focus on the here and now, while also honoring your past and current experiences. My client-focused or (YOU-focused) approach helps empower you to take-charge of your overall well-being. I hold a Master of Social Work from University of Maryland - Baltimore and am a registered yoga teacher and coach. I have training in mind-body medicine, Ayurveda, mindful movement, coaching, and various trauma-sensitive trainings. I love bringing these various approaches together to help you achieve your goals.
