Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. There is nothing you can say that will shock me, and you never have to worry about being "too much." Together, we'll explore your experiences with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. I have a special passion for supporting women through the unique challenges they face across different stages of life, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and reproductive and maternal mental health. At the same time, I welcome clients of all genders and backgrounds and believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy while integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. My goal isn't to tell you what to do—it's to help you identify what matters most to you, build practical skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. You are always in the driver's seat of your own journey; I'm here as a guide, offering encouragement, honest feedback, and evidence-based tools along the way. And if we encounter a challenge that calls for additional resources, we'll work together to find the right tools and strategies to support your goals. My path to becoming a therapist began in education. I started my career as a school teacher and returned to graduate school with the intention of becoming a school counselor. Along the way, I discovered a passion for mental health counseling and fell in love with the meaningful work of helping individuals grow and heal in a private practice setting. That journey has shaped my belief that people are incredibly resilient and capable of change when they have the right support. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'd be honored to walk alongside you. Therapy isn't about having all the answers—it's about creating a space where you can discover them for yourself.
