Introduction

Hannah comes to the therapy room with 19 years of experience in the mental health field, knowledge of the systems that oppress and harm so many, and a deeply non-pathologizing lens. Over nearly two decades, she's watched the field's language shift and she's come to believe that most of what gets called "symptoms" is actually evidence of adaptation: a body that learned to disappear because it wasn't safe to take up space, a mind that stayed hypervigilant because someone needed it to. Hannah works with clients navigating trauma, anxiety and depression, gender and sexuality issues, as well as the particular exhaustion of surviving inside systems such as patriarchy, capitalism, diet culture, racism, and homophobia that were never built with their wellbeing in mind. Her approach isn't about fixing anyone; it's about building a room where clients don't have to perform wellness, where what they've been taught to call dysfunction can finally be understood as adaptation. In her experience, healing doesn't come from becoming more palatable, it comes from being fully known.
