I’m Hannah Peterson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work, a BFA in Art History, and certification as a licensed yoga instructor. I provide compassionate, integrative therapy for teens (15+), adults, couples, families, and groups navigating a wide range of life experiences. Those include but aren't limited to anxiety, depression, grief, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and the emotional impact of chronic illness and pain. My work supports resilience, healing, and deeper self-understanding. I love working with clients who are curious about themselves and their place in the world, exploring their relationships with others and with themselves. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and flexible, blending modalities such as IFS, ACT, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic therapy informed by my yoga background. I also draw on attachment-based tools to support clients in understanding how early experiences shape emotional patterns, identity, and connection. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I welcome creative and experiential practices. I’ve led birding and mindfulness groups, facilitated walk-and-talk sessions, and used nature-based and embodied experiences to support nervous system regulation and meaningful connection. These approaches can offer grounding, healing, and insight in ways that complement in-office work. In our sessions, I bring curiosity, self-compassion, and playfulness, helping to make even the exploration of painful topics feel safe and manageable. I strive to offer a steady, collaborative space where all parts of you are welcome and where healing can unfold at your pace.
