Curiosity that leaves room for both complexity and nuance to exist lies at the heart of intimately understanding ourselves and others. We are shaped and colorful collections of our experiences. A closer look at old and familiar stories can unlock creativity capacity and emotions that have been hidden away, integrate complexity, inspire newness and awaken a sense of wholeness through consideration of past and present. In the bravery of slowing and allowing for feeling and desire to be named and have a shape, a deepening of clarity, and an inspiration of balance and new possibility can be found. I help college students and adults navigate feelings around grief, breakups, gender, sexuality, career, searching for love, separations, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, trauma, creative process, complex relationships, and life transition. I value the gift of building connections and relationships that are unique to myself and each person I see. My experience is grounded in a holistic psychodynamic lens that combines talk therapy and mindfulness. We work together to uncover and erode repetitive narratives around self and experiences. I see psychotherapy as a way to carve out a richer understanding of what makes us uniquely and wholly ourselves, helping us transform an old way of relating and living.
