Harold approaches therapy with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique lived experience. He believes meaningful healing occurs when individuals feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted without judgment. His goal is to create a therapeutic environment where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and identities with a sense of safety, trust, and confidence. With seven years of clinical experience, Harold has supported individuals navigating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and trauma. He has worked with service members, college students, and individuals from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Spanish, he is dedicated to providing culturally responsive and affirming care to Latino and Hispanic communities. Harold’s clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR informed by polyvagal theory. He also incorporates holistic practices such as mindfulness, meditation, grounding techniques, and spiritual exploration to help clients strengthen the mind-body connection, cultivate self-awareness, and foster resilience. He is passionate about helping individuals develop healthier relationships with themselves, discover greater meaning and purpose in their lives, and gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Harold strives to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel empowered to share their stories, build on their strengths, and work toward lasting, meaningful change. Outside of his clinical practice, Harold enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, cycling, traveling, and reading.
