Introduction

I am a Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, License # LW 60603454. Additionally, I am also a State Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider, License # FC 61356328. While earning my master’s degree, I worked in Thurston County Jail building a program to connect pre/post convicted individuals to resources in the community. My advanced practicum consisted of working with Thurston County Mental Health and Veterans Court. Most recently, I worked at the Special Commitment Center as a Psychology Associate, heading up Program Area 3 and Program Area 1. I have experience treating pre/post/civilly convicted adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns. I have training in integrative, cognitive-behavioral, prolonged exposure, and motivational interviewing. I pride myself on conducting therapy from a humanistic, person-centered approach. I am a member of several associations to include, the American Psychological Association (APA), Association for the Treatment of Sex Abusers (ATSA), Washington Association for the Treatment of Sex Abusers (WATSA), Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA), and National Association of Forensic Social Workers (NAFSW). In addition to my licensure and professional members, I continue to educate myself by attending national and local conferences, remain abreast of current research, as well as seeking supervision and consultations for complex cases.
