Introduction

Finding the right therapist for yourself or your child can feel overwhelming, especially when you're unsure where to begin. My goal is to make that first step into therapy feel comfortable, supportive, and free of judgment. I provide individual counseling for children ages 5 and older, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, self-esteem concerns, substance use, behavioral challenges, and relationship or family difficulties. I take a person-centered approach and strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as we identify meaningful areas for growth and change. My experience includes inpatient substance use treatment, community mental health, and school-based therapy. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and Motivational Interviewing. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Niagara University. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends, listening to music, watching movies, and playing video, board, and card games. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—you simply need to take the first step.
