My Approach Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in painful relationship patterns, navigating major life transitions, or struggling to find a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment. Therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, better understand what is contributing to distress, and develop new ways of responding to life’s challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity about each client’s unique experience. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and attachment theory. Together, we explore both the challenges you are facing in the present and the deeper patterns that may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I believe meaningful change occurs when we learn to approach ourselves with greater awareness, honesty, and self-compassion. My goal is to help clients build practical tools for managing difficult emotions while also developing a deeper understanding of themselves and the experiences that have shaped them. My Background My interest in understanding human growth and healing began long before my clinical training. For more than 15 years, I have studied psychology, mindfulness, personal development, and contemplative practices while supporting individuals through anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade working as a life coach. These experiences ultimately led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. Today, I integrate my clinical training with a strong appreciation for mindfulness, self-reflection, and values-based living to help clients create meaningful and lasting change. My Goal for Clients My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where my clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered. Whether you are navigating anxiety, healing from past experiences, a major life transition, or seeking greater clarity and fulfillment, I hope our work together helps you develop the insight, flexibility, and confidence needed to move forward with greater freedom, purpose, and connection.
