Jennifer Thumm - Founder, Therapist and Visionary is a Licensed Professional Counselor who launched Haven Professional Counseling, LLC in 2017. She earned her master's degree from Geneva College with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling, and a certificate in Special Education in 2010. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in 1999 from Edinboro University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about working with children and families, doing so in various settings throughout her career. Jennifer specializes in children utilizing her experience in teaching, early intervention services, and behavioral and outpatient mental health to provide a whole child approach. Jennifer’s counseling approach utilizes animal-assisted therapies, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), a Family systems approach, as well as TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), she is also adding on additional training in infant, child, family mental health and development through Fielding Graduate University. She believes in an approach that works toward health and restoration in the families that she serves using a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach. She believes in a process that works toward ending generational patterns of dysfunction and abuse, changing the trajectory of lives, and providing clients with a network of community and support to meet the individual needs of their journey. Jennifer continues to expand her specialization for children and families in interventions for the clients she serves. She has been a part of One Shot One Life Mastermind Group, as well as Leader's Heart, Tender and Fierce, RQ Kids, and a Raised to Stay Coaching cohorts. Lisa Shaw - Therapist and Clinical Director With more than 15 years of experience in addiction treatment, Lisa Shaw, LPC, CAADC, MAC, brings both expertise and empathy to her work as a counselor licensed in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Tennessee. Lisa specializes in trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery, using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassionate Inquiry, and somatic approaches. She views therapy as a collaborative journey, where her role is to guide clients toward healing, self-awareness, and emotional freedom in a safe and compassionate space. Becky Samsa - Mental Health Coach Becky holds a Master's degree in counseling and is an experienced mental health coach and counselor with a passion for art, music, and humor. She offers coaching services for individuals struggling with grief, loss, depression, and anxiety. Becky is committed to facilitating restored hope in lives and helping her clients connect with the source of Hope and Truth. Angi Dougherty - Trauma Informed Coach and Director of Retreats and Intensives is a Christian, trauma-informed coach called to walk alongside survivors of narcissistic abuse, offering Christ-centered support and guidance. With over 20 years of experience understanding the deep wounds caused by narcissistic behavior, Angi brings not only empathy and insight but also a heart rooted in faith and compassion. Her mission is to help survivors reclaim their God-given identity, restore their self-worth, and walk in the freedom and healing that Christ offers. Having personally walked the painful road of leaving a narcissist and enduring the emotional and spiritual toll of the family court system, Angi understands the unique challenges this journey brings. She equips clients with both spiritual and practical tools to stand firm in truth, set healthy boundaries, and remain anchored in faith—even in the midst of legal battles and co-parenting struggles. With a deep commitment to creating a safe, Spirit-led space, Angi helps clients rediscover their strength in Christ, embrace intentional self-care, and step into a life of wholeness, clarity, and peace.
