Introduction

Hayley is a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Ohio. She received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in California. Throughout her career, she has worked with students in school and college settings, completed psychological assessments in testing centers, and worked with primarily adolescents and adults in community mental health settings managing a wide array of presenting concerns. She has also worked as a supervisor for doctoral-level trainees and has provided therapy in nature-based settings. Hayley’s therapeutic focus has been working with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma related to a wide range of stressors, life transitions, stress management, developmental disabilities (primarily mild forms of Autism), interpersonal/communication skills, grief, and issues related to identity, gender exploration, and sexual orientation. She works to provide a healing space in therapy that focuses on individuals’ unique needs and strengths, while integrating a social justice and anti-racist orientation that is also affirming and collaborative. Her use of evidenced-based treatments (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, etc.) is provided in a person-centered manner to empower individuals to lead their own brand of a meaningful life. When Hayley is focusing on her own self-care, she will either be exploring foods and thrift stores in new areas, exploring new worlds in books or video games, or exploring nature areas with her dog.
