Introduction

Hi there, I'm Hayne. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor providing both in-person and Telehealth sessions. For 25+ years, I've loved working with every angle of the family. If you looked at my schedule on any given day, you'd probably see a few married couples, some exhausted and burnt-out parents, a college student, a firefighter, someone having an affair, or someone who has been crushed by a loss. I often find that a person's willingness to come in and simply talk about things creates at least 50% of the change they are looking for. Whatever it is that brings you in, my two goals are to help you clearly understand why it is happening and what to do about it. I’m a trained EMDR therapist through the organization of EMDRIA. I offer therapy for most population groups and most issues. I moved back to Saint Augustine in 2017 to I started my own practice, Elbow Tree Christian Counseling, because I wanted to paint the walls my own color, hang my old longboard on the wall, and wear flip flops! There are now three coastal outposts for Elbow Tree in Florida in St. Augustine, Jacksonville Beach, and most recently in Fort Lauderdale where I have recently relocated full time.
