Introduction

Welcome! My name is Heather Baker, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and support. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, genuine connection, and the understanding that each person's experiences and goals are unique. I have a special commitment to serving those who dedicate their lives to helping others, including first responders, nurses, teachers, healthcare professionals, and caregivers. These professions often carry unique emotional and occupational stressors, and we understand the importance of having a confidential space to process experiences, manage stress, and prioritize personal well-being. My approach is tailored to each client's specific needs, creating a safe and empowering environment where individuals can explore their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths. Whether you are navigating work-related stress, personal challenges, grief and loss, relationship concerns, or major life changes, I am committed to helping you find balance and resilience. I value a calm and supportive space where healing and personal growth can begin. I believe therapy should feel approachable, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. My goal is to help clients gain greater insight, strengthen their sense of self, improve relationships, and cultivate a greater sense of peace and well-being in their everyday lives. Seeking support is a courageous step, and I am honored to partner with clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and lasting change. Whether you are facing a difficult season, processing past experiences, or simply looking for additional support, I look forward to helping you move toward the life you want to live.
