My Approach is always collaborative, supportive, and strengths-based. I am a visitor in her clients’ lives and works alongside them to build self-awareness, emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, and resilience while creating a compassionate space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they move toward meaningful change. I have been a Licensed Master Social Worker in Arizona since 2010 and I bring over 15 years of experience in medical social work, including inpatient services and hospice care. I have had the pleasure to work with children 10+, adolescents, adults, individuals, and couples. Through my working with individuals and families facing complex medical challenges, I have developed a deep appreciation for treating the whole person—recognizing the strong connection between physical health, emotional wellbeing, and mental health. I have and continue to support, clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, chronic illness, pain management in older adults, substance use, and relationship challenges. Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and talk therapy I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
