Dr Buxton is confident in treating a wide array of psychiatric illness with additional specialty training in women’s mental health, perinatal psychiatry, and the caregiver/infant dyad. Dr. Buxton is a well-established adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist. She earned her medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, completed her adult psychiatry residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University and sought out additional fellowship training in child/adolescent and reproductive psychiatry.
