Introduction

Parents know their child better than anyone—and when something feels off, it can be heartbreaking. Maybe your child has always struggled with anxiety, overwhelming emotions, or friendships. Or perhaps your once-confident, joyful child has become withdrawn, worried, irritable, or full of self-doubt. Despite your love and support, things don't seem to be getting better. Seeking therapy is a courageous step toward helping your child thrive. I believe every child has unique strengths and an inner spark that deserves to be nurtured. My goal is to help children better understand their emotions, build confidence, and develop the resilience they need to navigate life's challenges while staying connected to who they are. I specialize in working with children experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulation challenges, and difficulty coping with life's challenges. With more than ten years of experience supporting children in schools, homes, and community settings, I bring a deep understanding of educational systems, behavioral health services, and family supports. I also enjoy collaborating with schools and advocating for children's needs so families feel supported beyond the therapy room. My approach is warm, playful, and relationship-centered. I create a space where children can express themselves freely through conversation, play, art, and creative activities—without pressure to "get it right." Drawing from evidence-based therapies alongside developmentally appropriate, creative interventions, I help children make sense of their feelings, strengthen coping skills, and rediscover confidence, curiosity, and joy. I offer in-person therapy, virtual sessions when clinically appropriate, and nature-based sessions for children who feel more comfortable connecting outside a traditional office setting. If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you. Email is the best way to reach me.
