Introduction

Welcome to SparK! Heather Koutsogiannis, PsyD, ADHD-CCSP Spark Psychological Services is dedicated to the assessment, treatment, and parent education of all ages. Specializing in children and teens with suspected or diagnosed ADHD, Dr. K combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to bring chaotic home lives into balance. As a licensed psychologist and ADHD specialist, (ADHD-CCSP), Dr. K works with the family unit as a whole to bring about change that is palpable... it only takes a tiny sparK to ignite a big change! From start to finish, parents are incorporated into the therapy process at every session. Using executive function skill building and parental education as the backbone of our work, play therapy techniques and reward systems are woven into sessions to keep motivation high. Struggles with emotional regulation, time management, organization, misplacing things, rejection sensitivity, low motivation, task initiation, social interactions, and behavioral outbursts at school and home are often the goals of therapy. If this sounds like you or your child, reach out, I'm here to help.
