I believe in resilience and healing, in whatever ways these are defined by individuals and families. I recognize and honor that the individuals and families, with whom I have the immense privilege to walk alongside in a therapeutic relationship, are the experts on their experiences and lives. Compassion and trauma informed/trauma sensitive care, in addition to weight inclusivity are at the heart of Radiant Resilience Psychotherapy and the way I practice. As an integrative therapist, I utilize therapeutic approaches that best meet what is present in the room. I am a Certified Body Trust® provider, in the process of becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, as well as continue to pursue certifications and learning opportunities related to specializing in working with individuals impacted by trauma in addition to disrupted relationships with bodies and food. My hope is to create a brave space through utilizing principles from Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating principles, in addition to mental health counseling modalities. Advocating for the best care for those I work with, and collaborating with other providers and the community on trauma informed and inclusive care are important to me. I have provided mental health counseling services to youth, adults, and families to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, and life changes since 2014. My experience has been in community mental health, private practice, and more intensive care (partial hospitalization) settings.
