I am a psychologist, and I love what I do. I don’t have all of life figured out and I definitely don’t have all the answers (nobody does), but I am willing to admit that I am human, and I think that is what makes me relatable and real. I know what it's like to sob in my shower, to scream in frustration, to binge an entire season of a show and eat a pint of ice cream because sometimes life just feels like too much. I work in this field because I know what it's like to navigate the highs and lows of life. My approach is based in integrative therapy, which is a progressive form of psychotherapy that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of each individual I work with. This means treatment is customized to meet your needs. We will work together to identify and address the source of your discomfort or distress, then develop strategies to promote change that make a difference — in mood – in relationships – in life. My clinical specialties focus on anxiety disorders, healing after trauma, PTSD, gender and sexual identity (LGBTQIA+ Affirmation therapy), and OCD. However, I have many years of experience working with a variety of mental health issues, emotional and personal challenges, psychiatric disorders, relationship struggles and more. These may include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, life transitions, college stress, coming out, and other interpersonal difficulties. I am SW-friendly and am MAP-informed.
