Caring for others has been the thread running through Heidi's life's work - from community health education, to growing organic vegetables for families in her community, to becoming a marriage and family therapist. Along the way, Heidi has worked with individuals, couples, and families across many stages of life, supporting clients from childhood through older adulthood. As a marriage and family therapist, Heidi views people through a systemic lens that considers the relationships, experiences, family history, culture, and strengths that shape the lives of her clients, rather than viewing them or their problems in isolation. Heidi believes in working collaboratively with her clients to understand not only the challenges they are facing today, but also the patterns beneath them, so that lasting change can become possible. Whether seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, or life transitions, Heidi's goal is for clients to feel understood, respected, and empowered to build a life that feels more authentic, connected, and hopeful.
