Introduction

Heidi believes meaningful change is possible for everyone and views therapy as a transformational journey rooted in awareness, clarity, and understanding. She is a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, earning her master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Touro University in 2025. Heidi supports individuals, couples, children, and families in building insight, connection, and flexibility—guiding growth in relationships, self-esteem, emotional awareness, grief, life transitions, resilience, and family communication. She has worked with clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and OCD. With over eight years of experience as a music educator, Heidi brings creativity, warmth, and attunement to therapy. She works from an integrative, strengths-based framework informed by systemic and existential perspectives, drawing from narrative, solution-focused, CBT, psychodynamic, somatic, and creative approaches to meet client needs. Heidi believes therapy is a collaborative experience in which she guides clients to explore patterns and stories that no longer serve them, while reconnecting with existing strengths and values to create meaningful change. She offers a warm, inclusive, and affirming space where all people, including LGBTQIA+ clients, feel respected and supported as they transform and grow at their own pace.
