Hi, I’m Heidi. I help children, teens, adults, and parents slow down, make sense of what is happening inside, and find more grounded ways to respond to life, relationships, and stress. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, stuck in repeating patterns, or unsure why they react the way they do. Some are navigating trauma, relationship strain, parenting challenges, life transitions, or the quiet ache of feeling like they are carrying too much alone. My approach is relational, depth-oriented, and trauma-informed. This means we will not only focus on symptoms, but also on the deeper patterns, protective responses, and unmet needs underneath them. I work with curiosity, honesty, and care to help clients better understand themselves and build more capacity for emotional regulation, connection, and change. With children, I use play, creativity, and developmentally appropriate ways of helping them express what they may not yet have words for. With parents, I offer support in understanding the emotional world beneath a child’s behavior and strengthening connection at home. Therapy is a place to slow down, be understood, and begin tending to what has been hard to hold alone.
