Helen Turnbull is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy. She works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma, PTSD, chronic pain, ADHD, pregnancy and postpartum stressors, and relationship challenges. Helen's approach is rooted in the mind-body connection. She integrates Dance/Movement Therapy, Body-Oriented Psychotherapy, Authentic Movement, somatic re-education, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Alexander Technique, a gentle method that helps clients recognize and change harmful habits of posture and movement contributing to pain and tension. Together these modalities help clients develop practical, lifelong skills for healing, emotional regulation and personal growth. Working through a trauma-informed, compassionate, holistic and humanistic lens, Helen begins by building a strong therapeutic connection where clients feel safe to explore both their conscious and subconscious experience. Her goal is to help clients create, restore and sustain inner peace and enhanced well-being.
