Hello, and welcome to my site! I’m Hillary, a perinatal mental health therapist. I work with women and moms in the stage of life surrounding pregnancy, postpartum, hopeful pregnancy, and beyond. I offer pre-baby and post-baby intensives for women, and these can be half day, full day or multi-day. It's space for you. To breathe, to process, to regulate, to prepare. I also offer ongoing therapy sessions for weekly support. In addition to a specialty in the perinatal space, I see adults who are desiring to live differently--with more curiosity, compassion, and clarity. For all of my clients, I specialize in treating complex relational trauma or attachment trauma...often, we find that new parenthood and prior relationship trauma happen to intersect. This stage of life surrounding pregnancy and hopeful pregnancy touches on seemingly everything: life transition, identity shifts, changing roles, marital distress, joy, beauty, exhaustion, boundary setting, grief & loss. There's no way around it...it's a lot. BUT when we do hard things with support, this builds resilience. When we do hard things (full on nervous system overwhelm types of hard things) without support...well, that's the definition of trauma. My approach is attachment-based and trauma-informed. I pull from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices to work with your body and your nervous system as you move towards space and support for you.
