I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University and obtained my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I work with adolescents and adults, specializing in depression, anxiety, relationship distress, life transitions, grief, trauma, loss and substance abuse. I have experience working in residential facility, inpatient and outpatient settings, providing individual, group and family therapy. I use an integrated approach to therapy through a variety of modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, person-centered, Trauma focused, solution focused and Internal Family system. As a therapist, I can assist clients in learning about their triggers, vulnerabilities, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. I will work with them to explore their past and present and how past experiences are holding them back and impacting their current behaviors and relationships. I can work with them to have a better understanding and relationship with their feelings, minimize suffering and learn how to response to life’s challenges.
