Introduction

At various stages in our life we may face new situations, traumas or feelings of sadness, anxiety or stress. It is during these times it can be beneficial to take a step towards helping ourselves, and by being here you are doing just that. I have a Family Systems approach, however I will use all evidenced based practices best suited for my clients. Some common examples are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Psycho Dynamic Therapy. I very much feel therapy is about my clients journey and I like to help assist their healing in the most prudent fashion. I have a very direct, but empathetic and compassionate approach. I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples and families who are working through life changes, grief, stress, anxiety, depression or trauma. Research has long supported that psychotherapy services are most beneficial when they occur on a regular, weekly basis – particularly during the beginning stages of treatment. Keeping in mind the amount of time (or sessions) it takes to "finish" therapy depends on each individual client and is highly variable. Therapy is most impactful when clients are willing to put in the work, I recognize how difficult this can be. I am here to support you through your journey. I would like to let you know I am considered an out-of- network provider (versus in-network/paneled) as I do not accept insurance at this time. If you have behavioral/mental health insurance benefits (PPO) you may be eligible to submit a claim for reimbursement of out-of- network services. It’s always a good idea to check. If your insurance does have out-of- network benefits, you pay me in full at time of service and upon your request I will provide you with a customized monthly receipt referred to as a Superbill – for you to submit for reimbursement to your insurance provider. I make no guarantees about the level of reimbursement you will receive from your insurance company. If you will not be providing a Superbill I will provide you will a Good Faith Estimate.
