Introduction

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York state and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I provide psychotherapy services to residents of New York and Pennsylvania via video sessions. Services that are offered include individual, as well as family therapy sessions. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association. I have been working in the counseling field for over 17 years. I have worked in outpatient substance abuse facilities in Pennsylvania, and New York state. In addition, to working with dual diagnosed patients in substance abuse facilities, I have also worked in a private practice setting focusing on many mental health concerns. I have treated many clients with a variety of diagnoses including; addiction, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and attention deficit disorder. I have a strong passion to help people, and truly believe in each individuals strengths and abilities. I have a strength-based approach to therapy, and strongly believe that if we understand our strengths, and learn to utilize them, we can improve our quality of life. I am non-judgmental and primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques and tools, as well as Motivational Interviewing.
