I believe with my whole heart, soul, and being, that when we live in our truth, we are free from suffering. In order to discover our truth, we need to slow down and listen to our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations to hear what they are telling us. When we do this, we can change our habits and thought patterns that are keeping us stuck and causing our suffering. This belief permeates my treatment philosophy. I utilize a variety of approaches in my therapy to not just treat symptoms, but to actually find the core issue, address it, and thus, eliminate suffering. I combine evidenced based practices, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with alternative treatments that focus on healing (Mindfulness, meditation, Somatic Practices, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Inner Child Work), so that you can find relief from the suffering you are experiencing (anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, etc.). With this wide assortment of clinical tools at my disposal, I’m sure to have something to help you uncover all the wounds, barriers, and negative patterns that are holding you back from the life you deeply desire to live.
