Starting therapy can be intimidating, and I believe it should feel like a place where you don't have to pretend everything is okay. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are; whether you're ready to dive into the hard stuff, need a space to process, or simply aren't sure where to begin. I see therapy as a partnership. While I bring clinical knowledge, evidence-based tools, and a fresh perspective, you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll work to better understand not only what's happening, but why it's happening. By exploring the patterns behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, we can begin creating meaningful and lasting change. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical. Some sessions may be emotional, others may be focused on learning new skills, setting goals, or solving problems. More often than not, they'll be a little bit of both. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more understood, more confident, and equipped with tools you can use beyond our time together.
