Having trouble dealing with something from the past? feeling anxious? Sad, lonely, or numb, or want to change or stop a behavior? I have extensive experience working with individuals who face these challenges. In our sessions, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen and supported as you explore your experiences. Together, we work on developing insight, resilience, and practical coping strategies to manage challenges and foster personal growth. My path into the mental health field began over two decades ago, when I worked with youth and families in educational and community settings. Seeing the impact of emotional support and self-awareness inspired me to pursue a career in therapy. I am trained to work with clients with ADHD and have experience working with clients with abandonment, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, social anxiety, adolescent peer and parent relationships, and immigration issues within a culturally sensitive trauma-informed framework.
