Do you find yourself rehearsing what to say, worrying about how you came across, or holding back because you’re afraid of getting it wrong? When you spend so much time evaluating yourself, everyday interactions and decisions can feel exhausting. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, social anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and low self-esteem, including college and graduate students, professionals, and athletes. You might be navigating a change in your career or relationships, struggling to feel comfortable around others, or trying to understand who you are outside the roles and expectations you’ve grown used to. In our sessions, you don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan. I bring warmth, curiosity, and honest feedback to help you understand the patterns affecting your life. Together, we can practice approaching situations you tend to avoid, expressing yourself more openly, and making choices with greater trust in yourself. Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade coaching gymnastics. Supporting athletes through setbacks, injuries, and changing goals shaped my interest in how we relate to ourselves when things don’t go as planned. I bring that perspective, along with my clinical training at Pepperdine University, to my work with clients. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist supervised by Erica Basso, LMFT.
