Hysalene offers individual, couples, and group counseling for adults (18+) navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and systemic stressors. Her therapeutic engagement is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. Drawing from her educational and professional background—which spans clinical training, justice system leadership, and community advocacy—Hysalene is deeply committed to understanding and serving people on both micro and macro levels. She integrates evidence-based treatments tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. As a Foundational Black American, Hysalene brings a lived understanding of cultural resilience, systemic inequities, and intergenerational healing. Her work is rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and a commitment to expanding access to affirming care for underserved and justice-impacted communities. She is currently practicing under a New York State Limited Permit and receives clinical supervision in accordance with NYS Office of the Professions guidelines. All services are delivered via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
