Introduction

I work with clients who want change in their lives for the better, but find themselves going in circles with challenges (e.g. anxiety, low mood, lack of confidence, life stressors, feeling disconnected). Our therapy work together helps create new ways of dealing with problems effectively, encourages and empowers clients to live meaningful lives, while attuning to a person’s unique culture and background. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as the therapy helps build flexibility for whatever problems we encounter. I also use other approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as needed. Research has shown these to be effective treatments, however the relationship with your therapist is of utmost importance. I believe in working together on a dynamic treatment plan that is tailored to each unique client. I look forward to connecting with you and discussing more about what treatment would look like together!
