Introduction

Idalia Gomez is a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist and proud Texas native who has called Kansas home for more than a decade. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wichita State University and her Master of Social Work from Newman University. Throughout her career, Idalia has had the opportunity to work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. Her experience includes serving alongside the City of Wichita Housing Authority and the Wichita Police Department’s Homeless Outreach Team, as well as the Robert J. Dole VA Hospital. These experiences strengthened her passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. Idalia enjoys working with children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. She believes that seeking therapy is a courageous step and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Her goal is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship and work collaboratively with each client to help them heal, grow, and move toward the life they want. When she’s not in the office, Idalia enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and unwinding with a good Netflix series. To schedule an appointment with Idalia, please call or text (316) 413-3658.
