I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out for help view it as a strength. I use an integrated approach that allows me to individualize the needs of each unique client, while using relational skills to strengthen the therapeutic relationship and offer a different perspective. My personal experiences as a mother in conjunction with my clinical approach provide a kindhearted, nonjudgmental, and empathic approach when interacting with diverse clients and families, regardless of their diagnoses or background. While I have a specialized training in the behavioral management of substance use and dependence, I am also a generalist practitioner and work with a variety of mental health diagnoses. I am dedicated to assisting women experiencing perinatal and postpartum emotional struggles, such as depression, anxiety, birth trauma, and attachment issues after childbirth. I have a unique way of using humor when appropriate, because it can provide comfort and hope, while strengthening the relationship between client and therapist. I also believes that resilience and strength often come from the darkest of places, but with hard work and collaboration, clients can feel healed and restored.
