Introduction

Great to meet you! I'm India! I am the founder and Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC) of Couch Conversations & Consulting, PLLC! Thank you for taking the first step on your therapeutic journey with me, one conversation at a time. I’m an LPC who shows up with authenticity, compassion, and a genuine understanding of what it means to rebuild your life. Several years ago, I experienced a traumatic brain injury that left me with invisible disabilities. Therapy helped me find my footing again, discover new strengths, and move forward with purpose. That healing experience inspired me to become a therapist so I could support others on their own journeys. I believe therapy should feel grounding and supportive. I take a holistic approach, looking at the full picture of your life — your experiences, environment, culture, and relationships — to understand what you’re facing and what you need. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and tailor therapy to fit your personality, goals, and pace. A bit about my approach I offer individualized care that blends practical tools with insight-building and ongoing collaboration. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface while also developing concrete strategies that help you move forward. My style is direct, relaxed, collaborative, and compassionate — with a touch of humor when it helps ease the moment. I draw from CBT, DBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, all through a trauma-informed lens. What to expect from our first session Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. I see myself as a guide who uses “gentle pressure relentlessly” — helping you take meaningful steps toward healing, confidence, and the life you want. When needed, I collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure your care is connected and supportive.
