I provide online chronic illness and pain coaching for adults living with long-term health challenges, persistent symptoms, and life changes related to their health. My work is especially suited to people whose quality of life has been significantly affected by illness, pain, fatigue, or uncertainty, but who want practical support in adapting, moving forward, and creating a meaningful life alongside their health challenges. Whether you have a clear medical diagnosis or ongoing symptoms that are difficult to explain, I provide education, guidance, and practical strategies to help you better understand your experiences, develop effective coping skills, improve self-management, and regain a greater sense of confidence and control. I also support people who are navigating the effects of childhood trauma, difficult relationships, and stressful life experiences on their wellbeing. Early experiences can influence stress responses, emotional regulation, self-beliefs, relationships, and the way we respond to challenges. My trauma-informed coaching approach helps clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and strategies for moving forward. I have over 25 years of experience as an Applied Psychologist and have worked as a Practitioner Health Psychologist since 2005. I hold a PhD in Behavioural Medicine, am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS), and a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), UK. My coaching approach draws on health psychology, behavioural science, coaching psychology, trauma-informed principles, pain management approaches, and evidence-informed strategies for behaviour change. Sessions are tailored to your individual circumstances and goals, with a focus on improving quality of life, developing practical skills, and helping you navigate the challenges of living with a long-term health condition. I run a small, dedicated practice, allowing me to provide personalised support and continuity. I aim to create a compassionate, validating environment where your experiences are taken seriously, your challenges are understood, and we work collaboratively toward meaningful and sustainable change. Sessions are delivered online through a secure and easy-to-use Telehealth platform. You will receive a private link before each appointment, accessible from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. If online sessions feel unfamiliar, I am happy to guide you through the process. For more information, please visit: www.ingelathuneboyle.com
