Introduction

I provide online therapy for adults living with chronic illness or chronic pain, especially for those whose quality of life has been significantly affected but who want to build a meaningful and fulfilling life alongside their health challenges. Whether you have a clear medical diagnosis or ongoing, hard-to-explain symptoms that disrupt daily functioning, I offer tailored support to help you cope, adapt, and regain control over your life. I also specialize in the long-term effects of childhood trauma and narcissistic abuse on adult health and wellbeing. Early-life trauma can shape the nervous system, stress response, and overall quality of life in ways that are often overlooked. Using trauma-informed therapy, I help clients regulate their nervous system, process difficult experiences, and work toward whole-person healing. I have over 25 years of experience as an Applied Psychologist and have been a Licensed Practitioner Health Psychologist since 2005. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS). I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), UK, and I provide secure online therapy worldwide. My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. Rather than using a single therapy model, I combine evidence-based approaches depending on your needs. This may include elements of health psychology, trauma-informed therapy, pain-management, grief counseling, and stress management. The goal is to restore daily functioning, improve coping, and reduce the impact of illness or life stressors on your quality of life. I run a small, dedicated practice, allowing me to offer personalized care and continuity. Research consistently shows that a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most important predictors of positive therapy outcomes. I prioritize creating a supportive, validating environment where concerns are taken seriously, solutions are explored collaboratively, and you feel empowered to manage your health and life more effectively over time. Sessions are delivered via a secure and easy-to-use Telehealth platform. You will receive a private link before each appointment, accessible from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. If technology feels unfamiliar, I am happy to guide you through the process. For more information, please visit: www.ingelathuneboyle.com
