Introduction

I have come to love the quote, “We are all just walking each other home.” Life has a way of taking us through unexpected seasons, storms, and terrains that shape us in ways we never anticipated. These experiences can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or alone. I believe some of the most meaningful healing happens when we don’t have to walk those paths by ourselves. Therapy is a space where you can be seen, understood, and supported as you navigate your journey toward healing, growth, and a deeper connection with yourself. When you come into my therapy space, the first thing you should know is that the strength and quality of our relationship is the number priority. As your therapist, I will work with you to notice and observe your thoughts, emotions and behaviors and consider them in the light of the unique experiences and contexts that make you — you. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic awareness, psycho-education and motivational interviewing, we will dismantle barriers to your progress. Sitting together, we will practice acceptance and witnessing of what you have already walked through. My education at Indiana Wesleyan University for both my bachelors in Psychology (2015) and Masters in Social Work (2020) provided me the foundation of knowledge that underpins my practice. During my internships in community mental health, I became more equipped with practical skills as well as a deeper understanding the importance of a client’s context. Because of these experiences, I continue to work from a systems framework as well as integrative/holistic model of helping. Currently, I am in private practice throughout the state of Ohio. I have a niche in grief and loss counseling, complex trauma, women issues and reproductive/family building issues. Anxiety, depression, and ADHD are also primary issues that I welcome. Most of all, I benefit my clients by being myself with warmth, empathy and an innate love for people. I want to learn who you are and come to know you, helping you get to where you’re going. I look forward to walking next to you.
