Hello! My name is Isabella, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist practicing at Freedom Within Therapy and Wellness Center. I am passionate about social justice, holistic health, and living in partnership with one’s body. Most of my clinical experience has focused on relationship concerns, domestic violence, immigrant/refugee experiences, and supporting individuals navigating significant life changes. I have also spent some time working with juvenile justice-involved youth and unhoused women in a shelter setting. I have also worked with individuals whose first or primary language is not English. I enjoy working with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, cultural identity, parent-child concerns, woman’s issues, and life transitions. I don't take for granted the courage it takes to begin therapy and invite someone into your story. My goal is to create a space that feels warm, safe, and inviting—a place where you can show up authentically, without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out (because really, who does have it ALL figured out?). My hope is that you leave each session feeling more connected to yourself, your values, the life you want to create, and who you want to become. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Because I believe therapy is not “one-size-fits-all,” I might integrate other evidence-based practices to best support your individualized goals. Throughout our work together, I remain attentive of the ways that culture, identity, relationships, and larger systems shape your experiences. I also approach therapy through a trauma-informed and harm-reduction lens, meeting you where you are and honoring your pace throughout the entire process.
